Mark 11:17-19

¹⁷ And He taught them, and said, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations’^[a]? But you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’^[b] ”

¹⁸ The scribes and chief priests heard it and looked for a way to kill Him. For they feared Him, because all the people were astonished at His teaching.

¹⁹ When evening came, He went out of the city.
